Building A Garden On A Dime

Gardening The Earth Is The Guard To Our Heart

Building a garden on a dime is next to impossible, but it is not completely impossible. You do not need a lot of money to create wealth and good health for yourself and your family. It may not be an initial cost of a dime to spend to build your garden, but once you receive a harvest, you have built that garden on a dime. The savings you make from growing your own garden is a lot overtime.

Our medicine is in our backyard and many are running around looking for answers. No matter how little you think you have, you do realize there is space you can make to grow a garden.

Building A Garden On A Dime

This is where healing begins.

How Can We Start Building A Garden On A Dime?

Home Is Where The Heart Is

Your home is where your heart is. This is the place you are living in and circulating your energy. It does not matter whether you live in the smallest shack in a rural town or the highest end condo in the heart of a large city, that place is your heart.

This is where you are settled at, whether temporary or permanent. Make your space the best and cleanest space possible. Get rid of the clutter and bring in sunlight. In order for you to function properly, the home must be in order first. Clean your home so that you have space to grow something. Then gather tools.

Start Using What You Already Have

You need seeds, which can be collected from produce you buy or purchase seeds of your choice that range in cost from $3.00-$$6.00 per package.

Use plastic containers to plant your seeds. These can be yogurt and other dairy like containers that you buy from the grocery store. To plant an indoor garden you will need one or two bags of soil, depending on what, how much you are going to grow. Soil ranges  $$5.00-7.00 for two bags.

Start your indoor garden and begin to build your compost. Your compost is not going to cost much either. Hopefully you all eat one full piece of fruit a day. An apple or an orange have seeds and peel left over. Throw them in a compost bin and once it builds up apply it to your future space garden.

This can be a garden bed that you have on your balcony or backyard. Mix in some of the dirt, with the compost for now. You do not need to add in soil just yet. This is added on when you have planted your indoor garden seeds which have grown into mini plants by this point.

Coffee Has More Than One Purpose

Coffee is a treat for your plants as the soil and seeds take well to the used up coffee grinds. Wait until seeds have sprouted first before adding soil in the mix. A large number of adults drink coffee and those grinds no longer need to go away in the garbage.

Mix it in with the soil to help it thrive better after seeds sprout and they will grow stronger. Although you have to buy the coffee grinds which is up to $20.00 for a good bag of coffee, but you can use them after you enjoy endless cups of coffee ahead. It is not like you are buying a cup from outside and do not get to take the grinds with you. 🙂

A Garden Shovel, Rake, Gardening Gloves, Garden Scoop and Step

Once you begin planting outside in your backyard you will need a few more things. A garden shovel, rake, gardening gloves, garden scoop and step will be helpful when working outside. However, these tools are optional and not mandatory. Out of all of them I am missing the step.

Those who garden for long periods of time, taking out weeds, planting seeds, mending their garden, they may need a step. My garden is very small and although it requires work, it can still be handled without the need of a step to sit on while working.

The Natural Sunlight And Clean Water

Building A Garden On A Dime

Plants needs sunlight and water in order to survive and thrive. There is no cost to natural sunlight just yet, although we are charged for water. Nevertheless, just like we need sunlight and water, so do our plants so it is not a large cost for amazing medicine you will ingest in the near future anyway.

In Conclusion

For now this is about all your need to start building a garden on a dime. Restaurants boast authenticity and organic this and organic that, but true authenticity is literally right behind you in your backyard.

Pay attention to it and feed it nutrients and it will give back to you in return. When you start to enjoy your own garden and growing food and eating it, it will make you feel better.

You will feel more at peace, enriched, abundant and best of all healthy. The heart of our home is our heart. The earth is an anagram of our heart and giving to the heart, which is an anagram for earth, is the best medicine we can give ourselves today. This is a kind of love no doctor can cure an ill patient from.

Indoor gardening for seedlings is still possible now before planting in May. Also, once you begin, start collecting rain water to use for watering your new plants. In Spring it rains a lot so you will have a wealth of water to collect.
