Consequently, I changed the location in 2021. Gardening kale in the summer of 2021 was a success.

9. Dish Soap Diluted In Water To Kill Bugs

Use dish soap and water (diluted), to spray on your collard greens and kale to avoid bugs from eating the leaves. Bugs will eat your vegetable leaves. These are items like kale, lettuce, collards, green peppers and tomatoes. 

You will see holes in them from bugs nibbling on them over time. Insects like aphids, spider mites, snails and slugs come for them. With this in mind, dilute in soap to avoid larger holes in your leaves. Pests do not like soap so they will not eat the greens in the garden. Use 1 teaspoon of soap to 1/2 a litre of water to make a small spray bottle.
